Mike Spencer started Spencer Investigations after having worked for several
years at daily newspapers in Florida and California as an award-winning
police and investigative reporter. As a reporter, he covered Hurricane
Andrew in Miami, the East Bay Hills wildfire and several high-profile
criminal cases. He earned a master's degree from U.C. Berkeley before
embarking on his career as an investigator. He then worked as an apprentice for three years before passing the exam required to become a licensed P.I. He is battle-tested
from having helped hundreds of private clients, conducted numerous successful
criminal defense investigations, served several attorneys in personal injury
and wrongful death cases, and exposed numerous instances of workers'
compensation fraud and other types of scams.
Mike Spencer prides himself on his resourcefulness and commitment to clients. He has helped private clients when police have been too busy or not cared enough to get involved. He represents his customers and serves as their advocate as if they were his family and close friends. He has vast knowledge of state and federal public records laws, databases, information brokers, etc. If Mr. Spencer does not know where to find the answers, he consults with his fellow members in the California Association of Licensed Investigators or other experts to obtain the information.
Spencer Investigations has put down roots in the Bay Area and plans to be around for years to come. For further information about Spencer Investigations consult the references.
